Report of the Committee on Academic Policies

April 21, 2004

The Committee on Academic Policies met on March 29 and April 19.  The current issue is the request by the Core Committee to examine summer school.  The committee has spent some time discussing what should be its role in this issue.  We have drafted questions for a possible survey of faculty and students and will meet with Dr. Beadle on May 3^rd.

 The Committee met with Dr. Beadle on May 3^rd to discuss summer school. The committee drafted two informational surveys (one for faculty and one for students taking summer school).  These surveys will be distributed in the Fall.
