Committee on Academic Policies Report
Caps met on January 17 and
February 3. We held open hearings on the
Guidelines for Selection of an Academic Dean or Chief Academic officer on
January 27 and 30. We will move that proposal to the faculty for a vote at the
February meeting. We have also received
a revised proposal for IS (Interdisciplinary Studies) which we are discussing.
We are also working on a statement on Concentrations, the Italian American
Concentration (revised) and a proposal for two new majors (
MIS and CIS) Management Information Systems and Computer Information
Systems.
